Measure What Matters: Making Better Decisions With Your Data

A no-noise guide to choosing the signals that sharpen your next creative and commercial decision.
Choose metrics that can change a decision
A number is only useful if someone knows what they would do differently after seeing it. Before adding a metric to a report, name the decision it is meant to support. If there is no decision, it may be interesting—but it is not yet a priority.
Pair patterns with conversations
Quantitative signals show where something is happening; customer calls, sales notes, and support questions help explain why. Put those sources together before reacting. A drop in engagement might signal weaker relevance, unclear context, or simply a different mix of visitors.
The point of measurement is not to make every choice automatic. It is to make the next judgment more informed.
